Cycle & timing

Cycle: 4–6 weeks on, 2 weeks off.

Timing: AM intranasal, calibrate sprays with the supplier’s nasal pump (standard 100 µL per actuation) before clinical use.

Where: Intranasal: 1–2 sprays per nostril, alternating sides each dose. Use a calibrated nasal pump (100 µL/spray, 100 mcg per spray at this recon) and tilt head slightly back during instillation. For SubQ injection, see the Selank page.

What to expect

Anxiolytic effect within 20–30 min of intranasal. Clear-headed calmness, not sedating. Memory and focus improvement over 2–4 weeks. No addiction or withdrawal.

Patient education

Aseptic technique: alcohol swab the vial septum and the injection site, use a single-use sterile needle for every injection, never share vials or needles between people. Sharps disposal in an FDA-cleared sharps container, never household trash. Cold chain: if a refrigerated peptide reaches room temperature for more than the labeled stability window, discard it. Mark the date of first puncture on every multi-dose vial. Inspect every vial before injection: clear solution (unless labeled otherwise), no particulates, no cloudiness, no color change. Rotate injection sites to avoid lipoatrophy, induration, and infection. Carry a record of what you’re injecting if you need emergency care.

Can Selank (Intranasal) + Semax share a syringe?

Intranasal stays in its spray. Intranasal Selank / Semax aren't injected, so they're never drawn into a syringe. Different routes never combine.

What it does

Approved in Russia for anxiety disorders.

Anxiolytic nootropic, Russian pharmaceutical for anxiety and cognitive enhancement. Tuftsin analog modulating GABAergic and serotonergic systems. Inhibits enkephalin-degrading enzymes. Stimulates BDNF and NGF.

Evidence

Russian-approved (anxiety); no completed Western clinical trials.

Approved drug

For anxiety the approved options are SSRIs (sertraline, escitalopram), SNRIs (venlafaxine, duloxetine) and buspirone; all with large trial bases. This peptide has no Western approval or RCT.
