VIP
Also: Vasoactive Intestinal Peptide
Vasoactive Intestinal Peptide, a signaling hormone your body makes that calms inflammation and regulates the immune system, blood vessels, and hormones. Used as a compounded nasal spray, mostly in the final stage of the CIRS (mold/biotoxin illness) protocol.
Shoemaker CIRS
Prereqs (CIRS): VIP is the last step, only after passing a VCS test and treating MARCoNS (nasal staph) per the protocol. Using it out of sequence can backfire. Note: compounded VIP is not FDA-evaluated for safety or efficacy.
Cycle & timing
Cycle: Course 30–90 days, then taper toward zero.
Timing: Up to 4×/day.
Where: Intranasal spray (primary). Rarely SubQ/IV in research.
What to expect
Improved inflammatory markers, energy, and quality of life in CIRS when used correctly at the end of the protocol. Not a standalone fix.
How much to buy
For 60-day course @ ~100–200 mcg/day:
Men & women
